Regium: Extraordinary Claims Require Extraordinary Evidence

They will actually get more than that if this continues. The kickstarter project started like 5 hours ago right? If we don’t get enough publicity about this they could realistically make over 200,000 by the end.
And if someone is still wondering whether this is fake, and whether there is a chance this will be a real product:

The funding collected so far is roughly 50.000€. With this money, which is already above his stated goal, he pretends to be able to
1. develop the app
2. pay his 5 employees (hah!)
3. produce around 70 high-tech boards until November, in the US, with 64x9 electromagnets each and all kinds of bells and whistles.

I want to see a calculation how this could possibly work out.

Of course it gets easier with more backers, but the kickstarter goal set by the project owner can imo never work out financially, technological obstacles aside.
@Panagrellus "pay his 5 employees (hah!)"

At least 4 of them don't exist, so luckily for him that saves him some money
KickStarter rules:

Projects must be honest and clearly presented.
Our community is built on trust and communication. Projects can’t mislead people or misrepresent facts, and creators should be candid about what they plan to accomplish. When a project involves manufacturing and distributing something complex, like a gadget, we require projects to show backers a prototype of what they’re making, and we prohibit the use of misleading imagery.

Prototype demonstration should reflect a product’s current state and should not include any CGI or special effects to demonstrate functionality that does not yet exist. If a project requires software and hardware integration, creators are required to show that functionality and any dependency clearly, or disclose that it has not yet been developed.
Misleading imagery includes photorealistic renderings and heavily edited or manipulated images or videos that could give backers a false impression of a product’s current stage of development.
@Panagrellus That's not just 64x9 electromagnets, he's also got 2-thickness of magnets on all the borders according to his first video, so by my math that's (64x9) + 56 + 56 + 48 + 48 = 784 magnets. Those borders add up. Lol, what a joke.
boom! wow the chess24 comment is news! not saying good or bad. but news!
Oh that’s great! At least chess24 admitted to their mistake and ended the sponsorship!
