Free
A good place to learn past beginner level.
Public forums and studies
Good place to grind puzzles.

Cons:

Not beginner friendly.
Mobile app is limited.
Not good for people new to chess

CHESS.COM

Pros:

New to chess/beginner friendly
Game Analysis is eye-catching and intriguing for beginners
Wide variety of features
Very well made mobile app and website.

Cons:

Paywall for certain features, primarily game Analysis and puzzles.
No efficient ways to learn purely on the app unless you pay.
