Feb 13th, 2021, 11:00 AM EASTERN |$30 entry Format: 5 Round Swiss. USCF Online Quick Rated. 4 Sections: Open, Under 1800, Under 1300, Under 700. For determining sections, the higher of a player’s USCF Over the Board (OTB) Regular or Quick rating and their USCF Online Quick rating will be used. Games will be played on Lichess.org. Time Limit: G/15; +5 (5 second increment). Entry Fee: $30, IM-GM free (entry taken out of winnings). Discounts for Detroit City Chess Club/Implodians children. Registration closes at 9:00 AM pm on tournament day. Schedule: Open and Under 1800 Sections: Rounds: 11am-12pm-1pm-2pm-3pm All pairings created ASAP after each round end. All prizes will be sent using Paypal Fair Play: Open section Players must be on Zoom with side angle camera (Cell phone camera is ok) for all games to be eligible to win prizes U1800, U1200 and U700 Sections, face camera ok. Players using chess engine assistance will be flagged by lichess.org, reported to the USCF Ethics Committee and face disciplinary action. Instructions: You will receive an email to you regarding how to access the tournament on lichess.org, login on Zoom and setup cameras once registration closes.
