I lose every game

Personally, practicing by playing more games helps me improve better than tactics puzzles or watching videos.
Good luck! :-)
Tactics is practicing corners, penalties, throw-ins and free kicks. Soccer resp. chess is more than that.
Tactis also teach calculating variations. Which is hard skill to us no-good-ones. Not that you need be ableto do long variations but I do mistakes already in short ones.

As for starters problem. No way you can learn by playing quick games (only) as the chess is thinking game which kinda assumes you should be play at speed at which you can actually think
@FloodedAxis You are doing just fine. According to your stats you are better than a lot on this site for
Rapid and Classical, though your lightning is not so good. However, for what it is worth, I won't touch lightning and believe it is bad for your chess anyway, unless you are Magnus Carlsen. I have noticed that the average rating of your opponents for Rapid is over 1800 and for classical over 1700. I see you have even beaten a 2000+ player. When I was playing at your level I could only dream of doing something like that. You're playing good players and may not be quite ready for that. But what the heck, if you're happy with that it's not going to hurt you. It might help to play a few players at or slightly above your level. Sometimes, when I'm playing badly I will play against people 50-100 points lower just to regain my confidence. But you don't have to.

Don't panic. Slow down, you're doing fine. Keep doing the tactics, eventually they will switch on your mind and you will see more possibilities in a game. The tactical knowledge is not active in your mind, yet, but don't make the mistake that because that hasn't happened yet, it won't happen. You don't know that. You can't be everything you want to be before your time.

Remember to keep playing and enjoying and learning. I hate l*si*g, but maybe the better way to look at things is you either win or you learn. Sometimes I can't even bring myself to say the defeat word.

Drop the lightning stuff and enjoy your chess.
I’m about to give up on this game.... I can’t make progress at all.
No-one can make you do what you do not want to do, but what would constitute progress from your point of view? I have to admit I just love playing chess, even though I hate losing, I can't see a time when I would voluntarily give up. For me, win, lose or draw I love playing chess.

@FloodedAxis , this is a decent rating and a very good rating for your time while playing on Lichess. Maybe this rating is a bit too high for you.After you fell some 100 points you should stop the bleeding.
how long have you been playing? you've only been on lichess for exactly 19 days...........jeezus...no offense.
@FloodedAxis
First an foremost be patient. Chess is not a game for superficials. You need time to improve. I was on 1100 rating for several years until I suddenly understood what I was doing wrong all the time. But I liked chess back then the same amount as nowadays. Its not only about winning or losing, its about having fun to play the game.
