Low base + High increment

Why is there no 1+10 or anything with a major increment and a low base time? Thx.
The beauty of low base time incase you play against a poor sports, who lets time runout instead of resigning. Less waiting time.
Why is there no quick button time control for this kind of play? Thats the question. Am I supposed to believe that a 2+10 or 5+20 is going to be played less than 15+10 and 30+20?
@ZeroKings Actually it is. In my 3 years of playing all different time controls of chess, I have played that kind exactly once. 1/4 + 60. It's not that I avoid it either. It just isn't popular.
@ZeroKings Probably because putting a very large number of buttons in that one spot is a little bit ugly, and takes away from the "clean" interface.
Also, if I understood the graph correctly, 5+3 was quite a bit more popular than either 5+5 or 5+8. If you wanna play either of those, I am sure you can set it up easily enough in the lobby. Also, note that there is an "other" button, so lichess does understand that people like other time controls too. Its just that there is no reasonable to cater perfectly to everyone.
Yes but 5+5 and 5+8 were more popular than 15+10 so why force ppl who want a certain increment into a much longer game?

Also your statement about 3 years and only once have you ever played a game like that?
you can play any time control you want! go to custom game
In the early days of Internet chess, 2+12 used to be a 'normal' time control for blitz. But this was in the early 90s, even before lag correction had made it into the chess clients.
