Does Puzzle Storm improve chess or is it much hinderance if compared to Chess Streak?

Ive hear it said that chess streak is by far preferred but surely if puzzle storm is done with intention and not in too fast mindset it could be good too to add in the mix while not being just fun and games?

Puzzle storm is a must for bullet and blitz

I would argue it's way more important than puzzle streak

If you learn from your mistakes every mode is good.
(just in case, play both :D)

maybe with storm its harder to learn longer calculations on storm but easier to do quicker calculations and patterns + maybe have intuition to know which lines arent that fruitful

Puzzle storms help you calculate quickly meanwhile puzzle streaks help you calculate deeply.

Both storm/streak train your ability to spot tactics and calculate variations. The storm forces you to be fast but you see the same basic themes over and over again. The streak has more variety and the puzzles get progressively harder.
To me, storm is like bullet where you barely think and pattern recognition is critical. Streak is more like blitz where you need to spend some time when you reach a critical position. Both can be useful in your training, why not mix the two?

i guess if you calculate too much quickly to get the rush of succeding with the cost of accuracy it can be hinderance in the long run

Always accuracy above all, never prioritize the time. Eventually puzzle storm after puzzle storm, you'll become quicker and also never get any puzzle wrong (that's the function of puzzle storm).

Storm is good for maintaining tactical awareness. Streak i haven't tried but i'd prefer regular puzzles. Anyway any of these is only training, and a very small part of improvement. The best thing to get imo is the understanding of positions before all, by books, and positions analysis. Test it with classical games and sometimes 3+2 for example. What you know right you can play in time trouble.
