It's a wonderful game, isn't it?
For me it's partly a form of escapism; when I'm totally focused on a game, especially a longer classical game, it takes my mind off all of the stresses and anxieties from work and life that go round in my head.

Making random moves gave a new meaning to my life.

Every bot is born as a chess engine and makes strong, calculated moves.

So boring, so mechanical.

Finally I have found a brave new world of freedom:

random moves !

Playing in unexpected and interesting ways.

You'll make more at autocad worker than at chess. Only top GMs make good money. IMs usually are starving. All top GMs got to about 2600 level at mid to late teens. Bobby Fischer I think, made 1750 level at age 13. . . couple years later, he was about 2600.
Just enjoy the game. Tal is one of my top two favs too. If you want excitement and Tal like game, try the Grob - plus the Blackburne Shilling.
