Board in front

Hello guys i was wondering if this counts cheating you have your real wooden board in front and you have lichess game open, then u play lichess moves on the board n analyze it how much u want by your self and make a move on the live game Is this cheating would you consider doing this? Thanks

No i say it not cheating but some people consider it cheating

Of course it's cheating. Ask yourself: Why are you doing this?

"1. Cheating. We define this as using any external assistance to strengthen your knowledge and, or, calculation ability to gain an unfair advantage over your opponent. Some examples would include computer engine assistance, opening books (except for correspondence games), endgame tablebases, and asking another player for help, although these aren’t the only things we would consider cheating."

That's how the ToS defines it. Pretty much your case falls into the category of "using any external assistance to strengthen your calculation ability", as you yourself said "then u play lichess moves on the board n analyze it how much u want by your self".

so is it wrong if i take my board set lichess to blindfold and just take the moves from there over to my Board just to practice OTB Play more. diffrent Viewpoint and such. i mean i dont get mor Winning Chances by doing that right ? ^^
