Reply to comment of @gayweather: Why would setting awards for women be sexist? Don't women deserve a reward for their hard work and outstanding achievement in the tournament?

In addition, I think the ratio between the women's awards and the general ranking awards should be more balanced. What do you women think about this?

Yeah @mostinfamous he wasn't too good. I think more people would like him streaming rather then playing :]

@Lion_of_chess : It s basically announcing that women can t keep up with men so they decided to give them special prize category, setting that aside why aren t there awards for players younger than 15 years? Why aren t there awards for best black players in the tourney or best asian players for that matter? Only women do get their own prize pool, it s a fine example of modern sexism.

@Savage_Cactus , I don't think magnus will play frequently here. $1000 is a very small amount to him. He is busy with chess 24 now. If he play 2 hour challenge Magnus over thete, he will get a lot than $1000.

I like this incentive for women. Don’t know why some guys become yellow and green in the face because of some „deadly sins“ like envy, greed, etc. (as we say in German).
