Study plus analyse your Games, which opening you do use more frequently, in terms of which are most succesful for you. Use lichess Explorer.

Pl follow these steps:

  1. In Analysis board, you can find the PGN as well as the name of the opening you won or lost in. Copy the moves, create a folder with that name and store them there.
    This habit helps you to build a repertoire. of various opening/defensses.

    Having a local backup is useful but studies are much more convenient for organizing games or opening variations.
