Back in the 70s nearly all programmers were men.
That is slowly changing, now that work from home is available.
The few women active in IT back then were every bit as capable as the men, on average.
Women at home are still busy as home-keepers.

... one could say that's because women are not so stupid as men, to waste as much talent and effort as it's needed to become a great painter or a famous violinist... in a tabletop game.
C'mon, guys, stop asking these sexist pointless questions and play chess regardless of your gender and your opponent's.
