Yes, it is, if you think so. Push yourself if you want.

Is my rating of 1287 good for a 10 year old ?
My friend whose 10 is 783 DSB my 11year old friend is the state champion and 1936 ELO so is my rating of 1287 DSB good for my age ?
How will these questions improve the quality of your life? Are these the right questions? The question you are asking defines where your mind goes and the quality of your life. Now, imagine you keep these questions in your mind for 10 years. How will your life improve? 2 things may happen if you compare yourself with others. 1. I'm bad. 2. I'm better than them. Both are useless. Change your questions, your focus, your life.... An example questions I'm asking myself all the time: 1. How can I grow 10x faster? 2. How can I make it 10x simpler, better? just examples. If you have the right question your brain will find the way.

... is my rating of 1287 DSB good for my age ?
This sort of question is very common and (I think) very understandable. Unfortunately, I suspect that there is no way to arrive at a dependable answer. For one thing, to properly assess your progress, it would be necessary to know such things as when you started playing and what you have been doing to improve. Also, there is the question of the sort of “good” that you are hoping for. Even, if you provide such information, I suspect that it would not do much good. As far as I know, there is no comprehensive database for this sort of issue.

"Is my rating of 1287 good for a 10 year old ?"
- Yes and no.
It is good in the sense that if you can sustain +200/year you will be world champion by age 20.
It is no good in the sense that there are many 10 year old much stronger.

No. I can take your rating to 1400 in a short time if you join my online class.
