Yakkuboev's Apology to Vaishali R and my opinion on the incident.

If you address somebody in a comment then you link that persons comment to your own comment. That is how a forum works. At least that is how I am using forums already for 26 years (since 1999). Let me know if you have a different understanding.

Because Challengers is the tournament where both Nordibek Yakubboev and Vaishali Rameshbabu are playing and where this incident happened.

BtW, you can also check the Masters starting list here:
chess-results.com/tnr1101638.aspx?lan=1&art=0
You might notice that even if you omit players registered in Netherlands, more participants (6) have rating below 2750 than above (5). So much for "1 or 0 in a life".

I explicitly quoted the part of your comment I was replying to.

Ok but what is wrong with also adding Masters into the discussion? In fact I added the Masters because I wanted to point out how difficult it is to get multiple invitations (several years on a row).

E.g. the fact that your claim is wrong even for Master, see second part of comment #12.

If you quote then you link because you give feedback on a comment. Right?

I think you don't understand well English. I try to reformulate. In Nordibeks life (time), Nordibek will only get 1 or 0 chances to get invited for Tata Steel (unless he wins the Challenger and gets promoted to the Masters or changes federation to Dutch or becomes + 2750 elo).
Not even that claim is supported by facts: a quick check shows that e.g. Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu is currently playing in Masters for fourth time in a row and in neither case his rating was 2750 or higher.

Honestly, I don't see much sense in going on with this absurd discusssion.

No more comments on Nordibeks chances to participate in Tata Steel which was the core of his not telling in advance about the handshake-refusal so the real topic of the discussion?

Yes I agree with you that it makes no sense to debate about a few points more or less than 2750 elo. In fact Pragg is now above at 2753 see www.2700chess.com/.

I won't. As long as this person or religion also does not disrespect any person or religion ;-)
