Hi all My fide rating is 1240 and i would like to improve it to 1500 how do I improve? do I read chess books if yes which? Any suggestions would help thanks!

This is my first response here to the forums, so Hello. I have found over the years when I concentrate playing chess on an electronic chess board only, my strength goes through the roof ! However my beloved chess computer is gone. So now I somewhat find it a struggle to maintain the same level of play. I really do believe 2d pieces can get you lost when you site down at a live chess table. Maybe it's just me though. Oh how I wish I had the DGT Centaur. Maybe one day.
@nagaramchess64 just play OTB tournaments and concentrate, imo your FIDE rating will be around 1850 since your online rating is 2100+
