I am a D4 player , I dont know much about how to play against e4 (I usually try this opening)

and get stuck after my opponent castle , if i dont try to do anything on queenside I get attacked on kingside and If i do something like this happens

You could win a pawn with 7...Bb4+ 8 Nc3 Bxc3 9 bxc3 Qa5

After he castles 11 O-O, you could win a pawn with 11...Nxe5

5.Bb5 is a bad beginner move. I would happily pick up the French if everyone plays like this but sadly this is not the case.

More or less what you played, but 7 Qa5+ is not a good move, it only allows the opponent to develop. The Idea is to lock on the d4 pawn via 7 Nge7 then Nf6, followed by Qb6. You start piling up the pressure there.

As far as I know, in some variations you do sacrifice a knight for the 2 central pawns, and they become monsters, as they become 2 connected passed pawns after the f pawn starts rolling and exchanges it for their f pawn.

But still, a draw as black. Not bad at all.

I don't see here any much developing, games was played very well in My opinion, moves are very smart. of course SF shows that main line should be different, but for human play it's Ok
