Cheating

I have played online for 20 years and recently I have noticed a huge uptick in cheating. It seems like I get a notification every week or 2 that someone I played cheated. I have 2 questions

1)Why not name the cheaters? They deserve to be outed.

2) I know there are some players that dont run an engine all the time but do it for parts of the game. I played one guy now banned that used the computer to build a winning position and then played from there. There are some easy things that could be added to the interface like check for processor usage and known running engine executables. Sure there are ways around it but I am sure you would catch some.

Why do people always think the cheaters are caught cavemen-style? Of course such simple things are done.

"check for processor usage and known running engine executables" -> thankfully web application are sandboxed and can't do that.

Actually you can check processor utilization from a web application and you can also check to see which services and applications are running.

Is there a web application that shows which apps you run in your smartphone? Just asking.
