The problem was that he was a FM By FIDE, but he didn't knew how to verify that on Lichess. So till now, he was a normal user, yet he already disclosed that he was a FM, on his profile description. Now, he knows how to verify titles, so his name now gets the unique 'FM'.
Takes a bit of INFORMATION GIVING to have Lichess List a Title you have obtained . Some players want to remain private also so you see some players @LordSupremeChess over 2600 even with no title shown' . One example I will give is myself who became an NM in the year 1988 . Also consider why you are asking when he obtained his Title
is everyone over 2600 titled?
