GM suspended for Cheating Accusations

Whoa... that chess.com language surprises me: "publishing unfounded accusations"

How do we know the accusations were unfounded? All we know are facts which have been made public.
Public accusations of cheating are not nice. I think I remember reading an article from Anna Rudolf where she was accused by Dlugy I think and some other GMs because she played good. They refused to shake her hand and said a device was in her lip balm. Must have been very traumatising.

A lot of GMs are bullies, especially when it comes to women and little girls. If it was a man or a boy I doubt they would be so outspoken.
Could it really be that GM Dlugy - the same player disconnected from an online event - made such an accusation about Miss Tactics? :-/
As much as I hate unsound accusations, one thing must be said, too:
Proofs are frequently like puzzles, and the pieces are distributed over several people not knowing from each other. Some may even not know, that they have a part of the proof in their hands! If every one keeps silence about his pieces, until puzzle is completed - then maybe it will never be completed.

I'm afraid, this is a situation, where you are caught between a rock and a hard place. Whatever you do, it may be awfully wrong.

Talk and hurt an innocent human.
Don't talk and contribute to demoralization.
