DGT Pegasus board news? App not yet in store, release was planned for Dec 6th

I have spoken to someone who was in contact with dgt, s reseller, and they told me it will "probably be enabled Monday or Tuesday", i sure have my fingers crossed... And also hope this "next week" won't turn into a "'free beer tomorrow' sign in the pub" kind of joke

I hope the quality of the board and pieces are better than the Centaur model.

Hello, i use the board since 10th december with lichess.org. It works very well.

They have now updated the page to state release is December 16th.

I really wonder what the problem is. This is actually not looking too good for the long term use of the Pegasus, and I’m already questioning the whole concept. We have to rely on DGT to ship updates for new OSes/devices, or else we can’t use the board? Chess.com integration was announced on site, but now it’s not there at all? Feels like a kickstarter campaign gone sideways...

Great job on the video's! FYI, you can swipe the clock on your phone to the left. When you do that, the board (along with a smaller clock) will be visible on your phone. That way, I don't need to have a tablet present.

This is getting really annoying, I am slowly getting furious. If you release a product with advertised functionality, you kind of expect people to be expecting those features. OR at least you'd think people might be wanting to be able to use the product at all, but instead they chose to release the board and fail on multiple promises. I have the board sitting around gathering dust for days now... In my frustration, I just sent an E-Mail to DGT directly as well, I am starting to consider returning it and getting a square off pro instead...

So let me get this straight (mostly for ios/mac users):

With the iPhone there is no way of using the DGT Pegasus until the official App for iOS will be released.
With a MacOS computer the board is not recognized neither by USB nor BT, probably missing prop drivers.
I downloaded, installed and tried the DGTLiveChess application from https://www.livechesscloud.com/ and again, no eboard detected.

Here if I am not wrong there is only two way of dealing with this "selling-without-granting" attitude from DGT company.

1. We find drivers that allows the board to be detected and then use the lichess app
2. We wait the DGT app to be released and we use it only with the phone

Am I correct?

I think DGT never got it right how important GREAT apps are nowadays and how huge iOS is out there. Ie. I will buy the board if the app has 5 Stars and I won ́t if it has only 1.
I have a USB DGT for years and the use with a Mac was always limited and clumsy, as they never published a proper driver. So I couldn ́t use it with ie. Shredder.

I ordered the Pegasus board to day from Topschach and I ́m curious how the iOS App looks like ...
