Urgent question about two functions on the chessboard

Hi everybody, I am totally new here and need your help.

There are two problems I cannot solve alone:

  1. Isn ́t there a "smartmove" and a "pre-move" function when playing on the chessboard here? And if, how can I activate them?

  2. When, while my opponent ́s clock is running because I am waiting for his next move, I already grasp my h3 pawn with my mouse cursor and hang it over the square h4, so that, when my opponent has done his move, I can immediately drop my pawn on the square h5, the square h3 gets automatically colored GREEN.
I find this very irritating, it ́s a real pain for my eyes which causes headaches.
It ́s extremely disturbing when, while calculating variations on the board, this one square lights GREEN.

How can I cange, i.e., cancel this function, so that all the squares on the chessboard keep on having all the same color, and that NOT a single square suddenly gets green??

Thank you in advance.

Best wishes,

Orgonomy

yes, if u click on your name and go to preferences you can select board highlight to stop this. The pre-move is when you make a make while your oppent is still thinking,i.e if you can checkmate him and he has no way to stop it, you premove to the square. DON'T use the pre move unless you're 100% sure its the best move. Smart move just means it was the best move, you an see if it was a smart board by going to match history, click request computer analysis , and then it analyzes your best and worst moves.I hope this helps!

to pre-move, it need to be when it's the ur oppenent's turn then click the pieces that u want to pre-move and then click the box that u want to pre-move. After ur oppenent moved ur pieces will immediately move to that square

Thanks for your suggestions.

The strange thing is that in the two "setting" categories

"Highlighting square" and

"Piece destination"

(I use German language, so maybe the last two lines are not the exact English translation, but I ́m sure you know which two functions I am talking about)

I DID define "NO" in both cases!!!

But this does not change the problem of single GREEN squares appearing in connection with smartmoves and premoves.
Strange. And really irrittating the eyes.

Best wishes to you all,

Orgonomy

I understood your 2nd point. Maybe there is no function as such.

What you can do is change your theme and color of pieces and board, maybe. Hope that helps.
