At what point did you stop improving with no active studying?

At the day my Mams father died I had no one to play chess with.
Corona forced me suddenly to search a new hobby. Or an old one.

I guess you can see improvements when your rating gets higher and you’re able to mantain it.

1800-1900 level in every time control

I stopped improving when I stopped studying some 13 years ago or so, and i actually quitted for 10 years, only playing here and there.

However, between watching videos here and there and playing the last 3 years, I inadvertently caught some more concepts which have improved my game.

So not really stagnated, but not much improvement either.
