Better way to expose cheaters

the question I ask myself and that the cheaters when they have been detected and put in the pool of cheaters they will see that the adversaries resist their program and they will notice it

The thing is that I'm 2100 Fide rated myself and I can figure out right after the middlegame starts, that my opponent is either using engine assistance or sb else is playing on their account. Additionally, I'm 15 years old and have been grown up in the chess engine era and have been using it all the way through my chess career while preparing for OTB games. I can sense every engine move tbh. Still people think they're smart if they "implement own moves" while cheating. I believe if you have worked with an engine (for good use though) couple of times, you automatically know what an engine move is supposed to look like in a specific position. And for those people who act smart doing stuff like that, I believe they should be punished in a special way. Not getting IP banned from websites, but getting silently banned. If this happens, the cheater would take time till he recognizes that he is tagged as a cheater and will feel ashamed. That might cause a more pleasant chess environment.

The only bad thing is that cheaters can continue making new accounts and continue cheating, getting banned, and opening another account and same starts all over again.

@FanDesEchecs If they play a game and still notice that their rating increases they won't notice that they have been tagged as a cheater. After a certain amount of time they will notice, but they will never be 100% sure that they have been tagged as cheaters, as they won't get tagged lol. They are just silently removed from the honest player pool and are removed from rankings. And removed from forums. So the only way of them to find out that something is wrong is when they contact lichess themselves. Then lichess might tell them what happened.

But the whole problem is that even if this rule would exist, after one cheater has gone through this new method, he will pass on his experience and after a certain amount of time every cheater would be aware of this new method and everything will start all over again. Sadly, even if you set the rule of getting permanently banned from a website after cheating, this won't prevent cheating.

@QualityZone1 No, rn when somebody getts tagged people start asking in forums or people they follow if they're account has been tagged. And then they get an answer. In 2 mins every cheater knows that he has been tagged. But if you don't get a tag (and other can't see it too that's what I meant) nobody could tell you that you are banned.

These cheating discussions are nearly as old as the Website.
They are frequently brought up in the Forum.
