No plans to study Dvoretsky Endgame Manual and Advanced Openings Theory. DEM is very boring to study while AOT takes endless studiy as Opening Theory keeps evolving. I studied Giants of Strategy by
GM McDonaldd and Creative Chess Strategy by GM Romero.
@GOD_OF_RAPID you can become GM without spending a penny - however it will take you much longer without a teacher and books, so I would not recommend it. Check out chessable they are a great addition to lichess studies and much better than those youtube videos, even the free courses.
I have no money 😭😭😭😭. I'm akid of 15.
@GOD_OF_RAPID find e-books
@GOD_OF_RAPID but your parents do and if they acknowledge your talent they will help you with it! Maybe they have no money for a teacher yet, but I know NO PARENTS in the world that wouldn't buy their kids a book. I mean your internet connection is more expensive than all chess books you need together. One book will keep you busy for ages. They are worth it. However, teachers are the most effective learning tool.
@GOD_OF_RAPID
If you can afford to buy One book, buy Dvoretsky Endgame Manual. You can search the web to learn Openings Theory and Chess Strategy.
I will not ask them for a book . They do a lot already. I will improve at my own until 18. After that maybe.
i've reached 2300+ (had 2370 in another account once) without any chess coach. I've read 2 books about openings and that's more or less it. And it took me 2.5 years to go from beginnet level (1350) to average player (my level right now). You don't need a coach unless you wanna reahc 2800 to be fair XD
@GOD_OF_RAPID You can challenge me in 10 minutes games. I will prove my point.
