3000 is among the highest ratings. Mine was something like 2400 or so, I don't see the reason for why I should stare at a board for an hour just to find that one winning move in a position of a game, that could have been won in many other moments much more easily.

Did you use two-factor authentication to confirm your 3000 puzzle rating ?
Probably not because you don`t know yet what two-factor authentication in regard of the puzzle rating means.
Let me explain in short.
The puzzle rating itself is only a meaningless number.
To make it meaningful you need to confirm it by a second puzzle number. Here on Lichess only Puzzle streak is suited to confirm your rating.
How does this work ? Pretty simple. Let ́s take a look at the following examples.
- If you have a puzzle rating of 2000, then you must be able to reach constantly more than 43 when you play puzzle streak.
- If you have a puzzle rating of 2500, then you must be able to reach constantly more than 105 when you play puzzle streak.
- puzzle rating 3000. puzzle streak : ? . I have no idea which number you must achieve here. Tell me as soon as you know.

@Bishop1964 105?? Have u gone mad or what??
These Streak ratings are about the same as our blitz rating and they choose some of the toughest puzzles after u pass a certain level, e.g. 2000 according to streak rating

I am pretty sure that a discussion about this would play out like this puzzle. https://lichess.org/training/AmykV
My current opinion is the queen on f4 and your current opinion is the king on g8.
After a few postings in each direction my opinion would be unchanged, but your opinion would have changed drastically.
Give it a try and play a little bit "puzzle streak".

I agree with that.

But that is just made up.

@lefonghua has a puzzle rating of currently 3378 and his most recent puzzle streaks were: 53, 55, 97 and 76. His record is 141 though, so there are likely a lot above 105. That's for a puzzle rating of 3378 - not 2500 mind you.
I don't think there has to be a relation between the two values. If you prefer one format over the other, you'll give yourself more time for finding a solution and that makes all the difference.

@CheerUpChess-Youtube
The numbers are not made up.
I played a lot of puzzle streaks.
puzzle no. 44 is always the first puzzle with a rating over 2000.
puzzle no 106 is very likely the first puzzle with a rating over 2500. I don ́t know for sure because I only reached 106 twice in my life.

Okay interesting. Still those two gamemode are not dependent on each other like @sookee said.

A puzzle rating over 3000 can never be confirmed by my simple method because there are no puzzles with ratings over 3000. I didn`t doublecheck this.
Of course it is needed to guarantee that there is a relation between both values. You always have to take the same amount of time. Endless in this case. If someone plays puzzle streak like puzzle storm than the value is meaningless.
Edit : Sorry for pinging the FM. Happened because I quoted.
