Black Lion

@Sarg0n oh thanks for reminding me that I posted the same post twice xD. Totally forgot about the last post. anyways thanks.
@AshrafulNafi It's playable from your level to 2500 at least. Ginger GM can win with it, even with its dubtious lines that avoid casteling. What is determinent is the strengh of your moves, your positionnal understanding, the knowledge of tricky and trapping lines, and some advises like :
-In space disadventage, look for free exchanges, try open files, and to control weak squares.
-You should try to exchange your dark square bishop, beacuse it's your bad bishop.
-You should try to look for counterplay and tactical ressorces.

The following study is particullary interesting about how to play the lion at top level

@AshrafulNafi
The line : 1. e4 d6 2. d4 Nf6 3. Nc3 e5 4. dxe5 dxe5 5. Qxd8+ Kxd8 has hidden potential.
The oppent often think he's better because he has suppressed your right to castle by the queen exchange, but in fact, it's not true and black is close to be equal. It's recomanded to play it if you're fine with endings.

It's also true for the three pawns variation, also called lion's den : 1. e4 d6 2. d4 Nf6 3. Nc3 Nbd7 4. f4 e5 5. fxe5 dxe5 6. dxe5 Nxe5 7. Qxd8+

For those 2 variations, white is better if it avoid to take e5 and continue developping with Nf3.
The 3 pawns variation is also very complicated for black if white refuses the exchange.
That's why 3... e5 is recomanded compare to 3... Nbd7. But the 3 pawns variation is rarely seen below 1900-2000.
Take a look at this bloke Maurice Bishop
1.33K subscribers on youtube he really plays it well.
