Hi everyone, I was wondering how to play a Chess960 match against someone. I can't play in the tournament for some reason I think it's because my ELO is too low, or never played it on Lichess yet so I can't play. Does anyone know?
You can go to Play - Create a Game and create whichever variant/time control you want. Or in the Lobby you will see challenges other people have already created which will usually include a few of each variant. You generally can't join tournaments until you have played a minimum number of games in that variant so there is at least a rough idea of your rating in it.
