How about more 960 tournaments, just have the Daily Chess960 Arena?
Good idea. Chess960 deserves more recognition. Hopefully the administrators will do some justice about it, don't lose faith.
I doubt Lichess will create more tournaments.Not many people play chess 960 variant these days.
In fact, 960 is growing in popularity, recently the 960 World Championship was played between Carlsen and Nakamura https://chess960.net/2018/02/960wcc-match-games-nakamura-vs-carlsen-2018/ and many other masters like Ponomariov, Karjakin or Grischuk promote it, and even Fischer said it could become the standard, as it is pure chess non dependent on any theory more than tempo, space and harmony of the pieces. Actually, when you play 'normal' chess you're playing the position 518 from Chess960.
