#1 If you want a clean game on lichess, play rated from the pool.

ICCF is serious, people do not abandon games. You join a 12 player tournament and you get 11 games. Lichess forbids engine assistance, but cannot patrol it for correspondence. ICCF recognises the impossibility to patrol engine use in correspondence games and thus allows it. In that sense ICCF is fair and lichess not for correspondence.

@Sprinkles_The_Carrot if you add 500 games and 400 do not move, you still have 100 games - if they lose on move 2 (because they did not move) you win and get a lot of rating points - soon you will have opponents who do care

Look in this team - lichess.org/team/correspondence-league - here a league is played, and from all ratings players are in. Challenge some of the members.

When you get stronger rating you will be invited to lichess.org/team/elite-correspondence-chess-club .
