Hi hello Lichess users,
a few months ago my tactics training rating went over 2100 and 2200 a few times.
Now in the last few weeks I have a difficult time going over ... 2000.
Have the tactic puzzles rating changed because lots more people started to do them ?
Or is it just me ? :)

Hello @achja. I also have the feeling that something has changed in the tactical puzzles. I went up 2100+ few months back and now I am 1900+ most of the time (sometimes I manage to go up 2000).
This does seem to be a phenomenon with doing lots of tactics puzzles. On my old account, i was consistently 2000+ for a pretty long time until suddenly one time, when my rating dropped even below 1900. it continued getting worse, and I eventually even had trouble staying around 1800.
yeah I feel like the same thing as well, at first and for a while I WAS AT AND AROUND 1700-1730 BUT NOW AM AT 1532, so it could be that the puzzles are getting harder.

i've noticed strong repetition in the puzzles around any given level, then all of the sudden a whole new batch comes in and my rating tanks, not because i got worse, but because i had memorized all of the puzzles they had been sending me, inflating my rating.
How is that possible stoobs? Are you gaming the system by memorizing the puzzles on another account and then coming back and doing them? You only gain or lose rating the first time you do the puzzle. o.0
For some reason I always think stooby is German. Explain that!
not gaming the system, the system gives me the same puzzles over and over again.
