Can you please try and increase the number of 'classical arena' tournaments rather than just keeping it once a week?
Maybe like 2 to 3 classical arenas per week.

This question may be too general to be answered, but I will ask it anyway.

What would it take for Lichess to become *the* largest chess server online? And is this actually an ambition that Lichess has?

From the top of my head, factors that may be important:

- Google search results. How to get 'on top'?
- Sponsoring / attracting 'big players' as ambassadors for Lichess. I know... Lichess isn't a commercial server and it shouln't be. But is this an absolute requirement for promoting itself? Are there other ways? Crowd funding?
- Chess variants (bug, duck, fog, 4-player). Yes, I know.. Lichess has, for quite a while, explicitely stated not wanting any new chess variants. Yet, this definitely is something that attracts players. I even find myself playing on 'that other site' just to be able to play duck chess, which really is much fun.

My suggestion is whenever we are celebrating lichess anniversary you can give 10+bonus points in rapid, as well as other variants too..
