The idea was:-
- g3 Bxg3
- Rg8+ Kxg8
- Ne7+ Kf7
- Nxc6...
And somehow win with my active knight and I had a better pawn structure than black

The idea was:-
26. g3 Bxg3
27. Rg8+ Kxg8
28. Ne7+ Kf7
29. Nxc6...

I must say that move 26 was a blunder if black had taken your rook, you would have forked with Ne7+ and then after you capture the black rook, each side will have 4 pawns. I understand that you have 3vs2 pawn majority but that will do no good because black has a bishop and you have a knight plus black will have a slightly active king.

A knight is better than a bishop most of the times with perfect play but a bishop pair is better than a knight pair with perfect play
