Why are so many players all of a sudden refusing to play Black?

@ambrooks I edited because the editing option is there to rectify my mistakes.

@ambrooks ik you meant it to be a joke so by editing my message i made what you said meaningless

@ambrooks If I would have left it like that then I would have got a bunch of dislikes.

BTW, the forum etiquette only disallows calling a particular person an 'idiot' - which I did not do.

Let's get real. Aborting games every time you get the black pieces is idiotic.

@havishmandhadi3

Yes, but I anticipated your move - and that's why I quoted your message in mine.

Us chessplayers must always stay a step ahead.

Dear @Funkmaus, look at my statistics. It is the ratio white : black in different periods of time.
1 Month White : Black 153 : 190 = 0.805
3 Months W : B 459 : 566 = 0.811
1 Year W : B 2049:2514 = 0.815
3 Years W : B 4288 : 5043 = 0.850
I do not believe that it is finally being balanced. There has to be some reason.
And I never choose to play black in advance, I just take what comes.

@Sybotes You have mentioned this before. Yours is the ONLY case I have ever seen like this, and every time someone posts one of these threads, I check their stats. (OP, for example, has had white 213 out of 428 games, and in the last week, which is his specific example, he was white 28 out of 58.) You say you are just taking whatever comes, but I'd say you must be doing something different from everyone else to get such a different result.

# 1 if you want to play with a particular color (for example to work on a particular opening), before playing a game you can choose the timr, increment and color (on the "play a game" button ) - adjust the sliders to increment / time then choose the color (on the sides of "random color", you can choose the color you want) personally, i don't really like that, i prefer the random color.
If it's the opponent who gives up because of the flush, don't worry about him, he'll likely be suspended for a few minutes if he does. of course there are also connection problems or other problems which make it necessary to give up without playing, - by playing more in tournaments, these withdrawals are rare because otherwise your opponent risks losing points - but here again the connection problem or other exists but probably more rarely.
@Funkmaus in fact in certain variants that you qualify as "exotic" (I speak from experience) the first which sometimes plays to the advantage (RK or atomic also 3+ ((three checkmate)) but not particularly in horde, that's not it. it is not because there are 36 white pawns that there is a particular advantage, a loophole where black infiltrates and everything collapses. of course in chess 960 and antichess there probably shouldn't be this "first-to-play advantage" @Funkmaus but for the 960 chess you should know more than me :)

Dear @Sybotes - thats strange indeed.
As #28 mentioned, I have never seen this before as well :<
Obviously I cant explain you that, maybe you were creating custom games as black or were accepting others seek as white in the lobby? Maybe you hosted a simul picking black side? Maybe you were challenged by your friends as black?
Well... wild guesses. The system does balance the color. Thats 100%. I dont know for what reason it fails for you. :((
