W.C. Game 2 discussion thread

I thought it world be nice to have a live discussion of the game...
Anybody interested?

I'm kind of too slow or lazy to bust out a computer but I was hoping somebody would. I think it would show Magnus behind a.t.m., (he sac'd the exchange after all.)

Anyway what do you all think?

c3 was somewhat strange by Nepo. Not directly bad, but on the wrong track somehow.

Do you think he'll play g6 now? After Magnus' Qc2?

@Sarg0n #2 Maybe Nepo has no hurry to win in the Classical part, he is waiting for obvious blunders like in his last Classical win against Carlsen. Or maybe he prefers to win in the Rapid part.

It's a chi conversation because one can come back after 15 minutes and one reply :)

Agreed with your comment Sarg0n. I would also say Carlsen shouldn't have sac'd the exchange beginning. But, it's probably a draw now.

Caruana basically said Nepo was playing a little too fast then. He compared a situation of Karjakin and So, where both played mutual blunder by not taking their time. (Karjakin first, then So not taking advantage of it.) But in this case, it wasn't bad, just a little mistake (as Sarg0n said.)
