This isn't fair for the Stockfish team, They should definitely have been compensated well, At least for the false claims that Chessbase had made

Yeah, CB really did deserve something slightly more severe, but we're currently in the middle of the largest chess cheating scandals of the century. SF's creators did have the power to sue CB, but at the end of the day Stockfish is free and the chess community as a whole should strive to develop our understanding of the game collectively.

Anyone knows why is the FSFE that will get some money instead of the Stockfish team?
