Wow, that's total nonsense that stockfish team didn't get compensation for legal fees at least. Terrible nonsense, must have been a bad judge.

How is this different to Hans cheating for profit? Chessbase makes me sick for years. Just like chess.com. I love SCID and Lichess. Enough said.

I looked at the stockfish team's blog and it looks like they actually *did not* want compensation

Chessbase can suck it.

i'm really impressed with how the sf team handled this. i'm personally struck by the calm and level-headedness shown by SF and lichess (and the rest of the open-source chess community) towards this matter; news like this makes me really proud to be part of lichess :)
