It's best of 10 games (3+2 time control, rated games ONLY), so it's first to 5.5 points. For instance after a 6-0 start, either player can decide to stop the match there, since 6-0 is already a decisive result. However, some people decide to play the full 10 games, it's really up to you.

It's also worth reminding new players that this is a double-elimination bracket, so even if you lose your first match, you are still in the race. You need to lose 2 matches in total to be out of the tournament.
