3...Bd6 is not the way to refute it.
Why did you resign? 18 Nxe4 is fine for white.

3...g5 is a better way to refute it and can lead to Mozio gambit when white sacrifices a a kinght on f3.

I play the kings gambit all the time. I like the way you play it, obvious mistakes aside. You hang pieces everywhere for the attack wich is a good way to play this opening. If you want some free lessons you can hit me up, i know everything about this opening

Believe it or not, the 3...g5 line of the kings gambit followed by a variation of the Mozio gambit was played between Hikaru Nakamura and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave in the Speed chess championship of 2020. So the 3...g5 line seems to be the main line for black to follow, if not the most common. Personally I think 3...d5 is an interesting counterattack for black, but I'm sure you all know most of the lines since you prevalently play the kings gambit.

I usually loose King Gambit as Black against 2000+ players and win against 1700- players. And yes, the best 3rd move for Black is 3. .. g5, which sometimes can be followed by g4 and Qh4+.

What do you guys think about 3.Bc4? Playable? Black can respond with Qh4+
