Help! - End of game bug: no result, no sound, no rematch options • page 1/1 • L1Chess Tools Users Team • lichess.org

Hi, I've just recently downloaded the extension (it's amazing!!) but it has modified the end of game behavior.
Now I can't tell when the game has ended (and it even allows me to make one more move after it's over!).
There's no sound or end result and I can't see the menu with the option to rematch, analysis board etc.
Does anybody know what's going on? What can I do?

@Cheetah_100 I don't think that's related to LiChess Tools. But if you doubt it, just go to Extensions and disable LiChess Tools and see if it still happens. Sometimes Chrome updates extensions badly. You can fix it by uninstalling then installing the extension again.

When I turn off the extension it goes away. But I haven't tried uninstalling it completely. Will do so now and see what happens! Thanks for the prompt reply!

Actually the problem still persists. I uninstalled and installed the extension again (without touching any of the settings) and the problem reappeared... Do you think the problem is on my end?

@Cheetah_100 , this sounds like a bug, but if it were widespread, a lot of people would complain.

Is it some specific set of preferences? You can compare what you have with what is the default (the blueish borders).

Feel free to contact me when you are online, even if I appear I am not. We can get to the bottom of this.

Please tell me what browser do you use and is it mobile or desktop, as well.

Wow you're so kind! I use Brave browser (on desktop), and no it's not because of the specific preferences (I reset them and everything). I think it's probably the browser -- Brave with all its blockers and privacy systems might not be the friendliest to extensions. I set it up on Chrome and it worked just fine!

Actually, quick update here. Now I'm having the same problem in Chrome!
What is going on? Could it be something in the settings? Is there any preference setting that makes the end of the game look different (with no sound, no nothing)?
