@Sandy1966-05,I disagree with you! Mettspiel is my strong point, although I am not an experienced specialist.

The dude himself, you brute!

And besides, there are prodigies who do not need to be taught a chess technique, they create their own. Sometimes a beginner understands what a grandmaster does not understand!

  1. Well, as long as you registered just two weeks ago, your ratings (not impressive) may mean nothing. Can yoiu tell your FIDE ID or РШФ ID?
  2. What, specifically, have you disagreed with me?

Wrong. Beginner just does not see what GM sees.

As near as I can tell, about 13 hours ago, this discussion crossed the 50 post limit and began to plunge into the depths. Apparently, contributions here will no longer cause the discussion to rise in the list.

This is not true. It all depends on the settings and database used.

Below 2000 1...c6 is the best opening statistically against 1.e4. Over 2500 in blitz many openings do better statistically, even Scandinavian and Alekhine.

I saw the Sicilian being statistically best in a New In Chess database long back on a webpage. And I am just talking about that.
