Well, I don't really have an answer to this Question, given that I live.

But there are many blieves, theories and even "scientific studies", that claim something.
Many Religions and Mythologies believe in something after death. Most of them say, that you are judged in some way: If you were a good (or neutral) person, you move on to a higher place where either is nothing or where there is something similar to a paradise. If you were a bad person, some say that you suffer for eternity or are reincarnated for another chance.
Some are said to have experienced after life, when they were dying (well, thechnically those people are thus undead and thus "Zombies", aren't they?) and say, that they saw a light, family members, complete nothingness depicted in blue or they heard a terrifying laughing which made them fear.

The most popular are probably the religious sayings, where some say life is suffering and death is salvation or that one can only live and death is a part of living (literally in this case).

But as stated before, I have no idea what's true or if it differs from person to person - and I am not keen on finding it out at the moment! So, what I can say for sure, is that your body (unless it is is some way "treated", you know like cremated or mumified or similar) will start to decompose.

Also, you might have heard, that you will longer be dead than living a life - so enjoy life! Choose life!
