hey guys. I was just wondering, how much time did it take you to reach 2000 in rapid/classical on lichess. I have been playing chess for a year now and am close to 1800 rapid and i wonder how long will it take me to reach 2000. Thanks :)
About a year and 4 months since I started playing chess, Don't worry about your rating tho, Just try to improve your chess and the ratings will come.
how often do you play? i play every day but dont study it ... I rely on my experience
I don't really study that much, I do play a lot of games online and joining a club really helps too so you can play longer serious games against stronger players who can help analyse your games. And of course if you join a club you can play games in your national league which will get you even more serious experience. Might take a while before clubs get started again tho so I just play a lot of games online and am trying to pick up studying but haven't really started yet tbh.
Playing a lot of games, doing a lot of tactics and watching yt videos... its not that difficult to reach ^^
