Mobile App Alpha

Yeah I think that one isn't required anymore (it was for closed alpha, but I think it's a public beta now) , but what about the second link in that post?

You mean play.google.com/apps/testing/org.lichess.mobileV2. ?

Done that too, zero effect. I always have to manually check, on google play or github or wherever, it's sort of like playing hide and seek. Best way to keep people away from giving feedback, I'd say.

Now 0.13 says "prerelease", does that mean that it's only internal? Then why publicize it? It's confusing. Internal betas should stay within the programmers group, if they are not intended to be downloaded by the public.
Hey guys, have anyone been having issue with animation in the test app? I'm on iOS 18.2 and the animation is broken on both iPad and iPhone, the game is unplayable and distracting due to the broken animation. It's jagged and feels laggy.

Try turning off the sound option and see if the lag stops. Currently an issue is reported regarding sound causing lag
At last! Now 0.13 is usable, without the risk to be banned for aborting too many games.

Touch feedback won't work on my phone (Realme, Android 12). Not a problem for me personally, I don't even like it.

Now, where is the right place to provide feedback and to report bugs most directly to the developers?

You'd want to check out the github, github.com/lichess-org/mobile
Make sure to check that what you post isn't already listed in the tracker.
Alternatively if you just have feedback, use the discord server
Noticed a bug. On the puzzles page when scrolled to the bottom the page “rubber bands” infinitely, moving up and down. Stops as soon as you scroll back to the top. iOS 18.1.1 on an iPhone 13 Pro. App version 0.13.12.

App is looking great otherwise!
Noticed that it doesn't show number of friends online in the top right corner. You have to click and see if anyone is online.

Also not seeing to option to message the players directly... only in game.

Loving the quick access to puzzles and training though.

The app is working really well at the moment. However it would be nice if you could turn the engine on from the Opening Explorer. I actually find going to Tools- Analysis then enabling the opening Explorer from here is the best way to do this - so i get both opening lines and engine on the same page. However it would make sense to allow quick access for to the engine from the Opening Explorer directly.
