@lovlas Okay, thank you!
If you open two accounts with the same email, you might have a problem if you forget your passwords.
Thats cool to hear, i always wanted to create a second account, with which i just play incorrect Gambits
Ok, i just see i can not create a second accound with the same e-mail, and my e-mail provider asks people not to create more than one accounts. Whatever. I guess i have to refrain from playing incorrect gambits :-(
I don't think it's forbidden to have more accounts, the problem would be to make them play each other in order to artificially gain/lose rating points.
You are not allowed to have multiple accounts unless you have a valid use case. For example, you want another account to play blindfold.
If someone abuses the system, we will RIP all of the user's created accounts.

Maybe a list with valid use cases would help. Noone wants to get ripped out of naivety...
#17 I would think valid reasons is what will be fair to your opponents. Like an account where you only play blindfolded, an account for your kid (that only your kid use) and so on. Not accounts to just play stupidly, experiment, play drunk or in other ways not playing at your best and in that way screw with other people's rating. We have casual/ anon games for that.
And this is exactly the problem. Is a "drunk account" a valid use case? A lot of people think it is, and Geniree here thinks it isn't. I'm more inclined to think it is, but what if one day a mod decides it isn't? It's not so nice to suddenly be facing the judge, jury, and executioner when nobody will even tell you what the laws are.
Some events I wish to attend anonymous, others not. I like to have some friends but I also like to practice without friends watching.
