Yeah, alright, the 2nd game is accepted
@ChangeOpening
The deadline is over already but ok, I'll include this game too
The forum is closed, if someone else wants to participate, wait for December's contest please. No new submissions here
Hello antichess enjoyers! Yes, it's already time to announce the results. Since for November there were really a lot of submissions (38), this month we will also have 6 winners but instead of separation with e3/non e3 openings it will be with different colors - games as White and as Black.
Among the champions we can see some familiar participants - the ones who already won Gotm in the previous months.
September's winner @Milky_Way12 is the 1st now in 2000-2200 rating category with his e3 b5 g5 game (so-called Tetiksh Defence) as Black!
October's winner @bwmtone takes the lead again in 2200+ rating category with his amazing stalemate as White!
And now some totally new faces:
<2000, White - @buckytheboss75 (also with Tetiksh Defence)
<2000, Black - @jtfu7bigil with a game against 1. c4
2000-2200, White - @Siddiq1911 with his 1. Nh3 game which has only one inaccuracy
2200+, Black - @aleksschtin with a game against 1. a3. And here we should also mention his opponent @mental_suicide cause both players were working on creating a really fascinating structure.
On the 15th of December as a prize all the winners will receive patron wings sponsored by @ChangeOpening. The study with annotations to the winning games will be published a little bit later.
Now some "honourable mentions" which didn't win officially but still deserve some attention:
@cFlour with his beautiful en passant in the game with e3 a5 (Marmaliser Defence) as Black
@ew-pawn with intermediate moves in the game against 1. c4 as Black
@Sridhar75 with his game as White against Antichess_Valentino. On one hand giving the king away so early wasn't really needed but on the other hand our participant won this tough endgame even without his king.
And @MiladLouak0 - he has a lot of c5 Rb8 games as Black but this one against AVDNA8 has only one inaccuracy.
All the players who are mentioned above and many more are also included to the monthly puzzle pack with my personal commentary. There are puzzles from submitted games (even from the ones which were replaced too), from my own games and some positions were suggested by @cFlour as well. There's a lot of content from ACWC this time and what about topics, u can see many endgames and ofc we can't live without our favourite intermediate moves. Have fun!
The new thread for December will be opened on the 22nd and this month we will have a format with only one game per player and again the winners will get prizes.
Hello everybody again! Here's the study by @cFlour with annotations to the winning games by @buckytheboss75 @jtfu7bigil @Siddiq1911 @Milky_Way12 @bwmtone @aleksschtin
"Honourable mentions" by @cFlour @ew-pawn @Sridhar75 @MiladLouak0 are added here too but without annotations (u can see short description of the games in my previous forum post. Also there's a monthly puzzle pack with my own commentary.
Congrats to the winners again and see u all in the new contest in December!
