Would an android robot be practical for you at home or in the near future?

It would be great if the robot would prepare my coffees while I work. And all of those home cleaning projects.

How do you know one is not already in your house, hiding behind the plants and curtains?
Why do you think the dishes are always mysteriously clean, when you get home?
I'm only joking hehe but... When I was a kid.. I always wondered, what if there was like some green goop covering everything, exactly and precisely outside of my vision?
I would never know..
Gosh such an interesting thought experiment. º|º|º

I will answer honestly : no.

why would I need an Android in my daily life ? to make my tea ? to cook for me ? he risks doing it too well, without error, with the precise doses of tea or spices

And I would be bored of drinking the same tasting tea every day.

That's why you need an enslaved cyborg, the marvels of AI with the chaos & cruelty of humanity intertwined!

No thanks, it would just be one more thing to maintain. It would require internet access to work, and if the manufacturer went out of business and bricked the robot, you'd be SOL. When it would break, the repair center would say, "We can't fix it, we recommend that you just buy a new one." You wouldn't be able to replace the battery yourself; The memory would be soldered in and non-upgradable. You get the idea - planned obsolescence, disposable robots.
