My computer is around 13 years old and it runs Windows 10, so I got a message that I no longer have virus protection. What can I do that doesn't involve spending a lot of money?

Well ig aftermarket might work,avast, and there are free anti-virus softwares available but i really can't vouch for them.

Good luck with that.

Sometimes it's time to update ig and buy something better.

Install GNU/Linux. Personally I use Debian, but if you're looking for something more beginner friendly, perhaps Ubuntu or another distro would be suited to your tastes. I think Debian is quite beginner friendly as well by default though, so it's really up to you.

Use avira. Its a decent free choice.
