Why can you not create accounts on lichess.dev anymore

But the question is why did it happen. I think that this was done on purpose.

@atanwin my guess is that lately, too many Lichess users signed up, and started using that site as an extension or alternative to Lichess.org.

At most 100 signed up

@atanwin If we look at what they have disabled. It is "sign up" ,"teams" and "forum".
Now I ain't on lichess.dev, but I just casually looked, and these 3 functions all show the same page. All of them stating that the feature is disabled and inform people to use Lichess.org.

So I presume it is because too many people started using that test site for the wrong reasons.
I doubt Lichess.dev was ever intended as an alternative to Lichess.org.
But apparently, some people started using it as such.

Isn't it conincidental that " lichess.dev " doesn't create a hyperlink to the website?

Maybe a hacker change your Password download avast.com and scan your computer or mobile
