It depends on the county...
In germany is it for boys: Leon/Ben and for girls Lena (i think so but im not sure)
If you count all variations...
Joseph (Men)... Christians use the name Joseph/Joe a lot, so do Muslims (I think "Yusuf" or Yousef, all depending on local variant) and so do Jews. While 'John' is probably more popular among Christians, I do not think that the Arab language equivalent (which I believe is 'Yahya') is more common, nor are any of the other prominent New Testament names.
Mary (women).... Muslims also use this name, Maryam.
it is also the case that many East Asian Christians, particularly Catholic/Orthodox, will have a baptismal name that is used within their family or church community, and so a significant amount of Koreans, Japanese, Chinese, etc., may also have names like Joseph and Mary.
Of course, the Indian & Chinese populations are huge, but it is unlikely that they can make up for all the people in Christian & Muslim cultures named Joe and Mary.
I also think the prevalence of Mohammed does not make up for the fact that billions of Christians do not use it...
And, so, I think everywhere in the world you are not far from someone named Joseph or Mary - though it may be a Yusuf or Maryam or some other local variation, and it may only function as a baptismal name in Eastern Asia.
