what's your favorite fruit ?

<Comment deleted by user>
cherries. Black cherries are the best of the best.
Also raspberries, blueberries, apples, pears and watermelon. And dragon fruit, lichee, durian, mango, peach... if it's sweet, I eat it.

On the subject of trans fruit/veges... I guess that cucumber would technically be a fruit too. <shrug> I am reminded of that old zen question we got in physics class nearly half a century ago. Is light a wave or a particle? It depends on the experiment. Similarly, is a tomato a fruit or a vegetable? It depends on whether you are a cook or a botanist.

"Typically used as a vegetable in cooking, it is a berry by botanical definition."

>So do many peppers
"Classified as berries, peppers fit all the botanical criteria of any other fruit."

As said. A smart men knows its a fruit.
A wise men will make a vegetable salad with it.
Homegrown strawberries. Especially now with APEEL being applied to produce.
