I would buy 1.000.000 dollars, and spend them the same way I spend the 1.000.000 I was given by this thread.

looking at some of the answers i see some want to form a company or buy one , and it got me thinking is this evenly remotely realistic ie can it be done and make profit
its got to be a small buisness and overheads need to be low
so what sprngs to mind ?
gumtree freebies , pick up whats offered for nowt and flog it ,
so thats a man a van a garage a computer and a pitch at a boot sale or market
the man and van and assorted legal paperwork , (license insurance mot ) looks the biggest overhead
but this could make cash very quickly

i would buy a small land and in that land i will grow many tress as it look like a small forest(want to be environmentalist beside scientist) and near to that i will buy another small land for my personal laboratory (want to be scientist in future) rest of money i would keep in bank locker because if i need in future ( like to make time machine i need some electronic parts i will use that money)
